Solution

Just get a cheap Z77 aSrock Extreme4 since you will only be doing slight overclocks.

680 is not worth it. 670 is $100 cheaper and performance is only less than 5% different.

IMO, PCHub sells a bit more expensive than the the ones in Amazon and NewEgg.

For the motherboard I was looking over ASRock Z77 OC Formula, is it worth every penny?
Also wondering if 680 would be better than 660ti?

The 2-3 months time is just a rough estimate on how long would I be able to save the money.

Obviously, prices in newegg and amazon don't include the after sales tax(states vary) and if you plan on shipping it to the Philippines, the warranty is null and void. So if something goes wrong in less than a year, you are ****ed.

asrock extreme 4 is good enough.

get the 670. you could fit that in your 2000$ budget.

if you plan on overclocking get the Cooler master evo 212. great cooler and cheap.

I see. Thanks for pointing those important factors.

Does ASRock Extreme4 offer a user-friendly overclocking application (new to the whole OC thing).

Yes, there's also OC apps that you can just download and use.

Please do ask again in a few months or so. Although I'm not sure I'll still be active by then.

Err so yeah. Good luck. A gaming PC wouldn't cost as much as 80k though.

Mga 40 to 50 thousand and you're good.

Good luck

It's pretty good but you won't be able to upgrade your CPU anymore after this.

The next intel CPU are supposed to use new sockets for Haswell(next gen of CPU).

I would avoid liquid cooling, just get air cooling. LC is only for very high overclocks.

Hyper 212 Evo.

The reason for the LCS is because the room temperature is kind of hot. So, I don't think that putting an LCS would be that bad.

Any particular manufacturer you would recommend?
Also, do you think LGA1150 is worth waiting for? I'm thinking whether to wait or not.

Don't listen to him, he's just bumping up his post counts haha. The 680 is the worst GPU anyone can recommend to you.

Figured. Since many usually recommends to go for 660ti or 670. Rarely see people recommend 680.
Is LGA1150 worth the wait? Or LGA1155 is good enough?

They are supposed to be better than 1155 right?
And 660ti vs 670.. which would be better? Planning to put it to SLI so my GPU won't overwork after I put 3 monitors.

So I'm wondering. What would be a good graphic card (nVidia please) to go with these pc components that can support up to 3 monitors? Also, can anyone suggest 3 monitors? Thanks.

Side note: If possible the GPU's color would blend with everything. Trying to go for blue and black. :D
