Going to college next year and need a decent, easy to carry and somewhat powerful computer for light gaming ( including CS:GO , League of Legends, Minecraft , etc) and school work.

This is the current build plan proposed by my friend:

CPU : AMD FX-6300 or AMD A10-7850K or either I3-4350 or 6100

All in the sub-200 range

GPU: EVGA GTX 750 Ti 2GB Superclocked the smaller one

Memory : 8GB of G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 1600

PSU : Corsair CX500M 500W Bronze

Motherboard : GIGABYTE GA-78LMT Micro ATX

Case : Fractal Design Core1100 MicroATX Case

Storage : 2TB WD Blue

Anyway I can make it cheaper or is there any compatibility issues?

If all you were going to play was LoL, CSGO and Minecraft, then you could swap the graphics card out for an R7 260/X, but it's really up to you. Any of the listed processors should be fine, except the A10-7850K - it's not a bad chip it's just not as quick as the 6300 or i3.

If you go with the A10 then you would be wasting its integrated graphics
The FX 6300 takes a lot of power
The i3 6100 would be a good choice since its efficient and also quite powerful
