I've run with a solid and extremly heavy full-metal super basic PC tower case from like the 2000s for years now and wanted to upgrade to something similar but modern because for one, the front panel connectors are terrible and for two, I had to take of the old plastic front cover a while ago because it broke and have been running with the bare metal front for a while now (see image below) which is a bit annoying not because of the asthetic but because of the hole underneath the optical disk drive.
I've been looking around for some similarly sturdy cases (you can literally sit on my old case) built to last, but they all have some features which I don't need, like RGB strips or glass panels or they contain features which I'm sure will break in a few years e.g. toolless clips or other plastic pieces.
I'm looking for a case which supports ATX boards and is made completely out of metal and uses screws to fix everything in place.
It doesn't need too support super fancy hardware or many fans or anything, but it would of course be nice if it was quiet and the airflow was good. Also: no RGB anywhere.
Price doesn't really matter, because I'm expecting it to last for 5-10 years.
Have you got any good suggestions? I've been struggling to find anything even close to my expectations.
