Hi all, Am planning to build my very first gaming rig. I generally have very little knowledge in this field, that is why I am hoping you guys could maybe provide me with some sound advice and comments. I have done some research and I plan to get these components

MSI B85 g43 Motherboard
i5-4570 Processor
Kingston Value Ram 8gb
WD Blue 1tb hard Drive
MSI GTX760 2gb Twin Froz GPU
Seasonic m12ii 620W PSU
Windows 7 Home Premium OEM 64bit

Any advice or changes that I should make?. Thanks

As a matter of fact i have 2 seperate gaming rigs, One is running 2x4GB Corsair vengeance DDR3 1600 and the other is running a single 4GB Stick of Vengeance...

Hi AC, I am planning to build it on a Sharkoon T28 casing, and i do not intend to OC it any moment now. As I am not that Tech Savvy. T

Good stuff! Enjoy the build, always a rewarding experience.

Cheers!

Sounds like a quality build, I'm rockin the i5 3570k and gtx 760 2gb with corsair vengeance and gaming wise it's everything you could ask for. Perfect 60fps in all games with highest graphics settings. Some games need some tweaking ofcourse but it'll run everything you need it to in 1080p with perfect framerates. I might go with the 4570k though incase you want to overclock somewhere down the road.

Thanks for the reply nitro, would like to know if the corsair vengeance is any good?. Planning to get the 8GB(2X4GB) With it running @ 1600mhz. Any advice please

As a matter of fact i have 2 seperate gaming rigs, One is running 2x4GB Corsair vengeance DDR3 1600 and the other is running a single 4GB Stick of Vengeance overclocked to DDR3-1800 and it is also amazing, fast, reliable ram. I have the exact video card you're planning to get with the same ram and as far as how they run together it's perfection. No issues.
