I would highly recommend spending the extra $16 to get the FX 8320. There are games coming out soon:

Where the FX 8-cores are the recommended on the AMD side right now, so would be best to go with it now while you can for such a small amount more.

I'd also switch the PSU around. An extra $11 gets you a significantly more robust PSU:

Also, the FX8320 will overclock (on a nice air cooler even, purchased later) make to 4.2Ghz easily....and is a very capable 1080p gamer. With two of those 380's, it would handle 5760x1080 too.....which is certainly possible with that PSU.

I like the idea of a better CPU but wouldn't it maybe be smarter to keep the CPU and get an SSD for boot and load times? The 6350 should be fine for games, even better when overclocked. But anyways my friends coming out of console gaming so 30 fps 720p is what he is use to. He wants to stay around $750

I edited the build keeping your ideas in mind. I had an extra 500w PSU so I might as well use that and knock off a few dollars (Even though 500w is REALLY pushing it). I added a 128 GB SSD and went with the FX 8320E. If we decide to overclock ((Hoping the PSU wont explode along with all the components with it) Definitely going to need a new PSU) it should be up to par with the FX8350 and FX8320. I dont think he will get into 4k and 5k res gaming anytime soon so I wouldn't need to change the motherboard to get a crossfire compatible one.

Heres the updated build:
