I am going to sell some graphics cards (belonging to my siblings) on ebay or through adverts. Is this a good idea given the bias of Ebay toward the buyer? Should I be concerned about scams and fraud?

One particular scam I have heard of is someone buying your card which is exactly the same as a faulty one that they own. They then send you back the faulty card. Apparently they can just swap the serial number stickers as well so that is no protection. One possible solution I have seen on EVGA cards is that they deliberately scratch the serial number sticker and the card.

I will be testing and cleaning the cards and filming them working.

Solution
Easy - take a marker, mark the card in a way, photo it with time/date then sell it.
If they do that, you have proof they are scammers.
Always do it with car parts, make a small mark which is not obvious, so you know if they are actually changing your products.
