hello,
I discovered that I should switch my PSU
I want to upgrade my CPU fan as well to a quieter one
and my computer case to a tidier one(my current cable management in the case is terrible)

this is my current build:
Intel Core i7-6700K 4 GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-H170-D3H ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (ATX motherboard)
2x8GB RAM sticks, I think of hyundai
Toshiba 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Crucial MX500 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Sapphire Radeon RX 480 8 GB NITRO+ Video Card

on pcpartpicker.com my estimated wattage is 436W

I'd like to get some advice about:
  1. which PSU should I get - my previous one was 750W, I am unsure about how much my system really consumes. I think ~550W is a safe choice.
  2. which CPU cooler should I get - I want a quiet one
  3. which case should I get - looking for(from most desired to least desired):
a. one 2.5" drive spot for ssd(optional, 3.5" possible as well), one 3.5" drive bay for hdd, one 5.25" drive bay in front for dvd drive
b. good airflow
c. good cable management

my budget is about $250

I personally thought about
  1. Antec Earthwatts Gold Pro Series EA550G
  2. Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

I'd like to get some opinions about my selections and other suggestions (need a case suggestion)

Solution
What PSU do you have, currently?

Your peak load would be around 400W under torture loads, typical gaming load probably closer to 300W, IMO.

  1. A quality 550W-650W unit would be more than capable.
  2. Generally for silence, you're looking at Noctura, BeQuiet etc.

I would look to something along these lines:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU Cooler: be quiet! Pure Rock 51.7 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($36.90 @ B&H)
Case: Cougar MX330 ATX Mid Tower Case ($44.00 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair CX (2017) 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($69.98 @ Amazon)
Total: $150.88
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

however, where are you located? If not in the US, then USD budget isn't really relevant as regional pricing/availability varies..

If abroad, what is your budgeti n local currency AND any preferred websites?

hello, thank you very much for replying
I am currently using an AcBel 750W 80 plus bronze psu
I am located in Israel. my budget tops at 1000 NIS
I think a preferred website would be newegg. and I think the price would top at 800NIS (as stuff here tends to get more expensive)

anyway, thank you a lot
