Advice in upgrading to 144Hz

Gday guys,

about a year and a half ago i built my first PC, and rather than buying a nice monitor i cheaped out and bought a second hand one from cash converters.

I've been looking into 144Hz monitors and have settled on one i think looks pretty good - the Acer KG251QF:

I'm on a slight budget so i'm happy to go for a lower end model as long as it has a 144Hz refresh rate. The only problem with this one i can think of is that it has freesync, wile my graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. Is having G-Sync over freesync that important?

I don't know a whole lot about monitor specs so Im not sure if there are any glaring weaknesses in this monitor that might affect my decision.

Also if anyone has any alternates they can suggest please let me know. I'm looking for 144Hz, costing around $300 Australian Dollars. The games i play include LoL, Battlefront, and a fair few singleplayer shooters like fallout if that matters.

$350 or less
1920 x 1080
24" to 26"

Two results (the AOCs) are Freesync. Perhaps compare the feaures (e.g. inputs) of them all vs your Acer model. Not sure if you can actually get anything from Freesync with an Nvidia card though, so suggest you look at non-Freesync monitors too.
