Hey there, I would really appreciate some input on newer, or yet to be released laptops that can meet my Art/Gaming needs while being portable enough to travel with.

I've browsed around a bit. I'm not an expert, nor do I consider myself super up-to-date but I do know I need an awesome monitor on my future laptop. I'm travelling and working. I need something 14-15inches. Potentially with Retina display? (Not really sure if that's just more resolution or what), hopefully IPS and certainly Matte finish. Again, I'm using the monitor for Art, so I need colour representation, good blacks/whites and all that jazz.

Other things I'll expect it to do hardware wise is-

Run Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush and some games. I can handle not having tip-top graphics, I'm not looking to play BF4 maxed or anything. So I will sacrifice power for weight/portability and the best monitor I can find.

I've looked at The Razer Blade from Razer, it looks awesome but it's uber expensive, and obviously the imac pro but I would like to stick with Windows, or maybe switch to Ubuntu if recommend. Does anyone know of some other serious contenders that may meet these needs? I would be super appreciative. Also, I'm not planning to travel till next spring-summer. (May-ish)
So if there is something else planned to hit the markets then I could wait.

Thanks!

Hey, I want to stay under 2,500. I would be super happy with a not top tier gaming rig that landed me around 1200-2000.

The main thing I'm gunning for is that monitor quality, I'm not sure if the tech is there yet, but if I can get close to this ( http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/PA248Q/ ) I'll be uber happy.

Thanks for the links, I'll read them now.
