[SOLVED] Advice needed on changing monitor from LG to Samsung

I want to change LG 25um8p, ultrawide 75 hz ,2560x1080, to Samsung Odyssey LC24RG50FQUXEN ,1920x1080, curved, 144hz! Price in Sweden is the same. Is this a good idea?

You're loosing 1" from the viewable panel(diagonally) and then you're loosing resolution as well. If you're a competitive gamer, then the higher refresh rate will give you an edge. Speaking of edge, what GPU are you working with right now?

Im using a new one , saphire nitro plus rx580 8gb, special edition, blue card, and i5-9400f
