I'm planning to buy a new computer in the next few weeks, with a budget of roughly 1,500 CAD. I would like to build it in matching colors if possible. I need some advice on the white-on-black themed build I've come up with.
I have all the peripherals I need, as well as a 2TB 5400rpm HDD that I can re-use (marked as purchased in the build). I currently use a 24" 60Hz monitor. I'm considering an upgrade to 120/144Hz if I can afford it. I also have a 550W PSU (Cooler Master Elite 550 ver.2) lying around. I would also like to add a SSD to the build, probably in the 250Gb range, but I can't figure which would work best.
I will overclock if my budget allows for a K CPU (or AMD equivalent), though it might not be essential. I don't care much for SLI/Crossfire.
