Hello, just purchased this monitor a day ago and noticed this bleeding. Is this normal? Or should I get a replacement right away?

If you can return it, I would return it.

Here is a list of 144 - 165 Hz monitors at Newegg. You can set the search parameters on the left for just about anything regarding monitors.

I would recommend these.

ASUS MG278Q Black 27" 144 Hz (GTG) WQHD HDMI Widescreen 2560 x 1440 LED Monitor,

Acer Predator XB271HU 27" WQHD IPS NVIDIA G-Sync Black/Red Gaming Monitor, 2560 x 1440 (2K), 144 Hz w/ Overclocking to 165 Hz...

Thanks! I just took a picture of it today, and adjusted HDMI Black Level.

When HDMI Black Level is set to Low, the bleeding seems not to be visible.

Otherwise, when HDMI Black Level is set to Normal:

I'll take another picture of this later at night. I'm unsure if this is expected or a defect. Perhaps do you know what is this HDMI Black Level setting is?

Forgot to check the reviews before buying 🙁. Do you think it would be best if I exchange the product with another brand? If yes, can you recommend one with specs of 27 inch, 144hz? Thanks!

UPDATE:

I created a simple HTML with background color: #101010, and the bleeding is still noticeable even with HDMI Black Level is set to low.

Guess I should have this replaced? 🙁
