I am going to upgrade my present computer using the following existing components

P182 SE case
Antec 650 Trio PSU
Powercolor 4890 GPU
X-Fi Fatality sound card
SiSoftware Sandra
WDC WD5000AAKS-00YGA0 (ATA) HD
PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-212D
HP-2105 monitor (temporary)

I am considering getting the ASUS P6T-SE mainboard, i7 920 cpu and OCZ Gold OCZ3G1600LV6GK 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 ram.

I will also get either the Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 or a TRUE 120 extreme cpu cooler.

My main concern is cooling of the mainboard. I would like to purchase any add on coolers now and save the headaches later.

Any advice would be appreciated on the cooling as well as other upgrades the would effect the system. (HD etc)

When I go to Crossfire will I need to upgrade my PSU?

Thanks

Firstly, what sites can you shop at? (Are you in the US?)

Assuming you are,

I would go with either a bigger PSU or a smaller one depending on if you want to add another 4890 in crossfire (looks like you do). Try this one:

Change the HDD to a Caviar Black 640gb for denser platters and faster read/write times:

Generally speaking, sound cards are no longer necessary/desirable because of the high quality of today's motherboard's on-board sound. If you are an audiophile, maybe, but for now, I would leave it off the list and add it later if you are unhappy with the on-board option.

I love your case, and it's a great cooling case with excellent sound suppression but there are better cooling cases out there. If cooling is a main priority and you don't mind a complete 180 in terms of case styling, consider the HAF 932...the best cooling case on the market IMO:

and upon looking that up, I see there is a mid-tower version on newegg:

Looks awesome!

Hope some of this helps.
