I haven't built a PC for over 10 years and due to life happening I have a small window of opportunity to build one last system.

The basic premise is to build a good looking, durable iGPU build for +-€1500 which can do a little gaming. And can be upgraded with a graphics card later this year to do proper gaming.

I have a basic idea for the build, mainly would like some of you to go over it and see if I did anything stupid.

Approximate Purchase Date: 27-31 July

Budget Range: +-€1500

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Home Entertainment, Surfing, Office usage

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: none starting from scratch

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, however not included in budget.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: If it ships to Holland I can use it, I can find my own parts though.

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Europe

Parts Preferences:
I'll list my basic idea here:

ComponentNamePrice
CPUIntel I7-12700k€ 422.90
MotherboardMSI MPG Z690 EDGE WIFI DDR4€319.-
MemoryCorsair Vengeance LPX CMK32GX4M2D3600C18€129.90
StorageSamsung 980 1TB€91.31
PSUXPG Core Reactor 850W€124.90
CaseLian Li O11 Dynamic EVO€139.90
AiO CPUNZXT Kraken X73 RGB€189.90
For fans 5x Arctic P12 for €25.71

Totals for: €1443.52

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 2560x1440 & 4096x2080

Additional Comments:
I plan on upgrading with an RTX 3080 (TI).
Would like the system to be able to output 4K graphics after the upgrade.

My main question is if the build is balanced, secondary question being of it will handle 4K with RTX3080 added on.

All advice is welcome!
Thank you in advance!

There is not a lot anymore in terms of OC and/or features with unlocked CPUs and Z690 boards compared to the locked processors and B660 chipsets. Whatever little gain you get from overclocking Intel these days, is not worth the extra time, money or effort. The locked processors are pretty close to the unlocked ones and can boost almost to similar clocks.

This will give you similar performance while saving some money...

You have the budget, you could get a GPU now, something like a 6600xt, and enjoy some gaming now. I would not get the 3080ti though. The 3080 12gb, or a 6800xt/6900xt, is a far better buy.
