I am wondering how low I can go price-wise on the GPU and still play modern titles in 1080p. The last card I had was a GTX 560 Ti so I know pretty much anything recent is going to overshadow that. I really have no interest going beyond 1080p currently. What would be the most economical choice that I could get away with while playing modern titles in 1080p with high settings and framerate?

I am fairly set on everything else, although if anyone has any better recommendations for a modern budget build around $1500 that would be appreciated as well.

For the sake of relevance, what was your last build? I'm assuming you're recycling parts from your older build, if so, please outlined what parts are being recycled. If the PCPP link is for parts you're planning on buying now, then you should ditch the fans.

You could look at an RX6600XT if you're not planning to go beyond 1080p or reduced details on upcoming titles but you're shaving about 50USD from the overall build;

You're advised to stylize your thread with info asked of in this thread;
and the community can chime in with worthwhile suggestions. I've taken the liberty to put something together, assuming you didn't make a mistake with your PCPP listing's location(found off the top right hand corner of PCPP's link);

The smaller SSD is for the OS, app's and launchers. All white. PSU will allow you to drop in a beefier GPU and one with a 12v-2x6 connector. You can replace the included RGB fans for something with ARGB but out of the box, the RGB fans will run off the PSU's power connector, without any input from the motherboard(no the RGB lighting can't be manipulated).
