Question Advice on a laptop purchase ?

Hello everyone I'm basically looking for a really cheap laptop where I can play some older games on just casually nothing serious, looking to play old PC games, call of duty 5 with modded zombies etc, I don't have much of a budget I've been looking through eBay and for between £200-£300 pre owned I can get systems that have between a 960m-1650 would this be OK for what I want?
