Advice on a new build

Hi, I'd like to know what the best kind of memory would be best and if my choice of PSU is ok. I have already have bought the Antec DF-85 and Radeon HD 6970 XOC 925MHZ 2048MB GDDR5 as for the rest check it out and let me know. This is my first build although I have modified another of my computers, moving it to another case, and changing the MoBo and graphics card.

I'd recommend a Gigabyte mobo over an Asus for reliability but it's your money.

As far as RAM is conccerned it depends on your definition of "best". Any name brand 1333 Mhz. RAM approved for the Phenom II CPUs will work fine for your build. Anything beyond the basics is purely aesthetics as DDR3 RAM does not run hot and does not need any of the cooling fins attached to the tops of the DIMM - which just increases the price.

First off, nice case! Have not had the pleasure of owning one but they look sick.

"Best" can mean alot of things. I would take a look at your MOBO site and find out what ram is supported so that you can get an idea of what to look at. Just because it doesn't say a ram is supported does not mean it wont work btw.

If im reading this right your only using one GPU so a 900W psu is more then enough. Probably even overkill to be honest. Everything else looks fine.

I have personally used an asus keyboard and havent had any problems. Just my 2 cents, just go with whatever MOBO you like best and has good reviews.

I love my ASUS mobo and ASUS has great customer service (in my opinion at least). Gigabyte is good, too, though.
