Advice on a prebuilt system - insufficient PSU?

Hi,

CPU/cooler: Intel Core i7-8700, akasa AK-959CU cooler
GPU: Gainward GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
MoBo: ASUS TUF B360M-Plus Gaming, S-1151
RAM: Crucial DDR4 2400MHz 8GB
HDD: Barracuda 1TB + Intel Optane 16GB
PSU: Cooler Master B500 V2

I am looking for a high value-per-price build able to handle at least World of Warcraft on highest settings, though I will likely be playing other, more demanding games as well. I have the option of modifying the above; there is a decent list of alternatives.

My monitor's resolution is 1920x1080.

It's been ages since I've ventured to put a build together (my current machine is 8+ years old and in need of replacement), but it seems to me that the PSU may be insufficient. The alternatives listed are mostly Corsair. What would your suggestion be, and are there any other parts I should look at replacing for maximizing value per money spent?

You are correct, that is a cheaper model I wouldn't recommend. Is this a prebuilt or you are building yourself? Can you change the PSU?

Gtx1060 only needs to be paired with something like a i5 8400. But it is fine if it isn't.

The corsair TX550M is the cheapest I would recommend

Yes, for the choices you have, TX550M is good to have, get RM650x if you have extra to spare.
For wow, I7 has little to none benefit, I will get a 8400/8600k instead.
Why not build your own
Add an SSD too...

yea 500w its ok but on the edge of the limit, rather take 550w to get alittle headroom but i recomend like Vapour to get 650w
