Hello!

I would like some advice if this system is balanced. Is it bottlenecked and what could I upgrade?
The problem is that Windows begins lagging after the system runs for quite some time (around 5h).Also closing some big programs cause it to lag or freeze for some minutes.
When Chrome runs for some time it takes up to 1 GB of Ram. Could this affect the performance?
I use this PC mainly for gaming.

Operating System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU:
AMD Phenom II X4 955
Deneb 45nm Technology
RAM:
4,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 669MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard:
ASUSTeK Computer INC. M4A785TD-V EVO (AM3)
Graphics:
SyncMaster (1920x1080@60Hz)
1280MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 (EVGA)
Storage:
465GB Seagate ST3500412AS ATA Device (SATA)
Optical Drives:
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS50 ATA Device
PSU:
Corsair TX 650

What could be done to improve it? RAM, SSD, OC?

Solution
Overall this system is balanced. You can add an SSD to improve its overall performance. Remebber, SSD wont affect your FPS. But it will make your system faster overall. Also, if you feel like you are getting out of HDD space, you can get a bigger HDD.

4GB ram is enough for general computing. Check your temperatures with the software HWMonitor to inspect if the temps are well within the OK range. And yes, SSD will improve speed.
