Advice on barebones new system

I like everyhting you got there except that motherboard case dealio. Do you need that small of a case? Its much easier to keep a rig cool and quiet when you go bigger on the case.

I think you might have to. Are you planning to use two ATi 3850's? Those barebones sets don't have two PCIe x16 slots in them.

What's your budget, and what are you wanting to get out of it?

i dont really have a set budget but im not looking anything super expensive. i just need a computer but i would also like to do some gaming.
 
You need a board that supports crossfire with two PCI-E slots, and a good enough power supply to handle two 3850s. Barebone systems generally fail in both accounts. While two 3850s are generally faster than a Radeon 4830, or even a Radeon 4850, a single Radeon 4850 or 4830 is easier to deal with since it will need less power and you will only need 1 PCI-E slot. Such a card will also give you better performance in the titles that do not support crossfire. This Radeon 4830 should be powerful enough for you and it only takes up one PCI - E slot
