And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I'm having trouble multi-tasking. I usually have Raidcall, Skype, Yahoo Messenger, iTunes, an MMORPG (Dragon Nest), a steam game running all at the SAME time. My main concern is that the game Warframe crashes a lot when I alt tab. I like keeping my MMORPG game up while playing another game so I can still view the chat.

Additional Comments: With only 600 as my budget, I think I can only upgrade one or two of the parts. I want an upgrade that would prioritize solving the problem right away. Any old parts would probably be used in making a mini itx build in the future.

If upgrading and overclocking my cpu is the recommended solution, I might need to go water cooling. Atm, I have no experience in setting this up. I'll probably stick to closed loop coolers like the CORSAIR Hydro Series H80 since I have extra Scythe 120mm fans. The cost of getting these cooling systems will excluded from the budget.

Or this, if you want to spend some extra dough on graphics, since the cpu has a great deal.

That could only work if he lives near a microcenter

Hi, THis should do fine: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/coastie65/saved/#savedbuild_1085341 I was trying to squeek a Video card in there ( GTX 770 ) could couldn't quite do it. Everything else you have is fine. On thing, if you change the Motherboard, you will definitely need a new OS, unless you have a Retail copy and not OEM.

That looks good. Should I buy the the mobo and CPU first or should I go with the GPU first?
Oh, I have the OEM system builder so I think I'm fine with the OS

For gaming that would barely make a difference. It's good for an upgrade path, but for an immediate difference you could go with the build I posted. Gaming is definitely mainly dependent on GPU these days and a 280x or 770 would make a huge difference vs sticking with your current GPU and adding a new i5.
