Advice on building a system

I am going to build a computer for the first time, and have a question about what would be best, as far as equipment.

Here is what I am looking at:

CPU: AMD 8320
MB: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P AM3+
RAM: 8GB DDR3 (1600)
HDD: WD Blue 1TB 7200 RPM
DVD: LG 24x DVD Writer
PSU: Thermaltake TR-500 TR2 ATX 500W
Case: Thermaltake Versa H22 Mid-Tower

This is going to cost about $450 in package from TigerDirect.com. I have a total budget of about $800, and need to get an OS. I also want to get a video card, and am looking at the MSI Radeon R7 250x, The Sapphire Radeon 260x or the Asus Radeon 260x.

Is this going to be a good set up, or can i do better for the money?
