Advice on Building

I was just wondering if all of these components will work together and particularly if everything will fit in the case I specify? Please let me know if I'm forgetting anything too or something that I probably need. I know nothing about building a computer and am going to have a friend build it for me.

Run away from that power supply, it is not a nice one! A build as nice as yours deserves better!! How about this one instead? http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-110b20750vr

It's much, much better and isn't going to blow your budget (hopefully!)

Your build would be even nicer with an SSD, a 120Gb one would make Windows and other programs load super-fast and a 250Gb one would have room for even a few games which would make stuff like levels and maps load quickly.

Alright. I will add that power supply to my list. How about everything else? Is the case big enough for all of the components? I'm not looking to spend more than $1700 total(including OS & Monitor)

Yes that's a good case, the power supply was the only thing that stood out as an issue and the lack of an SSD seemed a bit of a shame on such a nice build.

Yes absolutely. They usually come with kits so you can clone your old HDD onto the new SSD too, this is good as it saves you the hassle of reinstalling Windows

*Though I recommend you check as they don't all come with the kits!
