Advice on buying a new router

Hello guys,

I'm looking to get a new router for my home and I was wondering whether you could recommend any that would fit my needs?

I currently have 3-4 PCs (2 wired, 1-2 wireless) and 3 phones on the same network at one time. There are loads (about 10) different networks around me, all on 2.4GHz on channel 6 (a few are on 1,11 and an odd 4 pops up). What I'm looking for is decent coverage (15-20m on full-ish signal) and support for all the devices on my network (not really into routers, but I understand not all routers can handle this many devices on a network).

Spend a little more for a 802.11ac router with 3+ antennas, when/if your devices support 5gHz the 5gHz bands are clearer. Virtually anything in that realm should be able to handle that. For 2.4gHz probably 1 or 11 is the best bet for a channel.

How much should I expect to spend on a 802.11ac 5GHz router?

Probably the $75-100 range these days, $125-150 as a stretch. If you are going to blow $200+ on a network just get a switch and a couple access points.
