Looking into building my first PC. Below is a list of the component I have put together so far, not entirely sure if they're completely compatible or if any of them are overkill. Looking for something that will hold its own with photo/video editing, gaming and streaming.
Let me know if I'm missing anything important.
Thanks in advance

I don't really have a budget at the moment, kind of just pricing it as i go. Not looking to go over the top but i also know that its not going to be the cheapest build out there

Ryzen 7 1700x over the 1800x since they're pretty much the same thing and the 1700x can be overclocked to match the 1800x.
32gb ram because video editing eats a LOT of ram.
WD gold due to reliability.
GTX 1080 because it's faster than the 1070 ti and cheaper in many places.

Solution
1070Ti is certainly overkill for 1080p. 1440p is more of its domain. However, mind this, at 1440p, it is not guaranteed the 1070ti will max all games out there.

You certainly seem to love Asus, but if I were you, I would go for some cheaper brands to save money. Of course, that could just be my stinginess speaking, but I noticed that Asus always prices their components 40 to 70 more than competitors.

If you are going for a 1070ti and 1080p monitor, I would get a G Sync 1080p monitor at least. 1440p is more viable fore 1070ti.

I only chose all asus products because i thought being from the same company they may work better together rather than piecing different brands together. I don't really have any preference to what brand the components are as long as they are going produce the same output
