Had this PC for a while but figured I need to upgrade the cpu, not looking for a whole new system because I wanna ride this one out for a couple more years. Don't play any triple A games really and fine with playing heavy games on not best graphics. Not looking to upgrade motherboard because will be too much of a fuss and I may as well upgrade whole system. So any specific CPU's you guys could recommend? Just feels like all the stuff compatible with my motherboard is old (so expensive and hard to find) now.

Im living in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Budget of around 500 AUD but very flexible, don't want to have to spend that much though.

Below are the current specs of my PC, I bought this PC from Centrecom:

CPU: Intel Core i3-4170
Motherboard: B86M-E45 <MS-7817>
GPU: Geforce GTX 950
12GB RAM (Kingston) - I have a 4GB card in there and an 8GB one.
I'm unsure what case I have (sorry) but would be willing to upgrade. (Nothing wrong with it if I can keep it though)
I have a 256GB hdd storage with two 128GB ssds aswell.
Windows 7

Also looking to upgrade SSD and RAM but thats a different topic.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick replies guys, I'll look into the i7 4770, just looks so expensive though, is it worth the 600 AUD it looks like I'll have to spend on it? not sure...
