Hi,

I'm looking for some advice on a gaming desktop I'm wanting to build. I know very little about building, most of which I do know comes from skimming over guides and youtube videos. As I understand it, most issues arise because of incompatibility and improper placement of parts, however I have read that the actual building process is not too complex and that the parts offer instructions for instillation- correct me if I'm wrong. I've put together what seems to me to be a decent gaming rig for about 1000. Let me know what you think of it, if you have any ideas for improvement, or if I should scrap the outline completely. Thanks.

All items were found on newegg.ca, many of which were included in a bundle. I picked the network adapter out with no real knowledge, but it has to be capable of moving through one floor. I'm hoping to use the desktop to play modern FPS/RPG's.

Again, constructive criticism is more than welcome- you won't offend me :). Thanks in advance.

I don't have one yet. I was advised to buy one in-store (FutureShop, the Canadian Best Buy, is across the street) in case there were any dead pixels. I'm definitely open to suggestion.
