Advice on Gaming PC Build

Looking to build a new gaming PC. I've built several but it has been several years since my last build so I looking to the TH community for some pointers on hardware choices.

Here is what I am looking at thus far:

Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 800D
Mobo: ASRock Z68 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Vid Cards: 2x EVGA GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 3072MB
Power Supply: COOLER MASTER Silent Pro Gold Series 1000W
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
SSD: Intel 510 Series (Elm Crest) 120GB SATA
Storage: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM
Optical Drive: LG Black Super Multi SATA WH12LS30 LightScribe Support
CPU Cooling: CORSAIR CWCH60 Hydro Series H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Any suggestions?

WOW! Planning on doing some serious gaming? Looks good. My thoughts are below.

CPU - The 2500k is just as good for gaming purposes. If you are doing additional multi-threaded work then the hyperthreading of the 2600k may make sense, however it is overkill for most applications.

CPU Cooler - I would drop the H60 for a Hyper 212+ as water cooling doesn't really buy you anything.

SSD - The OCZ Vertex 3 will give you better performance at the same price point.

HD - Swapping the F3 1TB for the F4 2TB is maybe $20 more.

Thanks for the feedback. The plan is to have something "future-proof" (perhaps a silly idea). Also, will be using the machine for ZBrush, Photoshop and Illustrator.
