Advice on Graphics Cards Please

Soo very simply I wish to know which is better for performance and money wise.

The GTX 560 or the GTX 560 TI

What is the diference between these two, and how much of a performance diference is there between the two, and is it worth the price?

Second I wish to know which is a more trusted/popular/reputable brand. ex. EVGA? Gigabyte? etc.

I'm looking to buy one of these cards for my upgrade of my computer.

And i know im in the wrong section for this but does anyone know if that asus board is sli ready/compatible?

The gtx 560 is basically a Gtx 460 with much higher clocks!and the gtx 560 TI just adds another 48 stream processors,Honestly I would go with the gtx 560.And just overclock it,Theres really only about a 7-15% Performance diff. between the two.If your looking for the Ti then honestly I would just get a AMD 6950 cause it eats less power than the two(gtx 560/TI),and is anywhere between 5-10% faster than the 560's and in the same Price range!
As for that board,It will be Crossfire capable,Not SLI,But either or If you add a second card Its gonna be slow,Cause the second PCI 2.0 runs at X4!Look for a board that is either,X16-X16,X16-X8,Or just X8- X8,Those wont decrease the performance of adding in that second card.

I would prefere to stick with nvidia brand. lol and im upgrading from a 9800 gt, so im assuming i wouldnt see that much diferent between the 560 and the 560ti coming from this 9800 gt am i right?

and again which brand would you pick up for the 560/560 ti? evga or gigabyte? or someone else?

Yea either way its going to be a Big step up from that 9800gt,and on both of them your going to be able to play most titles at 1920x1080 with most if not all setting max.
But you wont really see much of a diff between either,If you got the money go for the ti!As for brands EVGA is probobly one of the best to go for(Great customer service and warranty),and well so is gigabyte!Just remember that overclocking your equiptment Voids your warranty so you might want to find a card that is already Pre-Overclocked.THe standard clock for the gtx 560 is 810MHZ,and for the Ti its 822MHZ.

im not worried about over clocking my system mainly cause i have no idea how to do it xD

So if you had to choose evga or gigabyte? I have had evga 9800gt for the longest time now, never had an issue with the card till recently now. keeps over heating really quickly and easily during games like mw2 when it never used to, its about.. 2-3 years old now so its just pretty much on its last legs lol, but the gigabyta 560 ti is cheaper then the evga 560ti,

Both of those are canadian, and the gigabyte one is only that price after rebate, before its more expensive then the evga one, and tbh iv never done rebate so no idea how to do it xD;; so im sorta leaning towards the evga.

Also what would you suggest for a decent mobo, around the same price that is sli ready/compatible I had been looking at this one:

Damn everything is really expensive in Canada,Lol.But As for MIR's I honestly hate filling them out and sending them back to the manufacturer just to recieve a few dollers back like 5 months later,and half of the time the MIR's never even come with the card and are never seen.But If you think its a good idea Go for it!Both of those cards above are great,Either or is going to be a winner,But the Gigabyte one is overclocked at 900mhz,and two fans,I like it!

I really like that Asrock Fatality board though,PCI 3.0,NICE,If I were to go Intel that would be my choice!

I just built a system with the GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3P, and it absolutely rocks. It is worth every penny. As far as card brands go, EVGA and Gig are good.....I also like MSI cards, and went with MSI for my build. Here's an example of a MSI 560 that comes factory OC'd, meaning it stays under warranty with the OC.
