Advice on heatsink

I'm having some trouble deciding on what heatsink to order for my upcoming mATX build.
My case that I have picked out (Fractal Mini R2) only allows for cpu coolers 165mm tall.
I don't want a gigantic tower that scrapes my window, but I don't want to go with some low-profile cooler and it not adequately cool my cpu (FX-6350).
I've looked at some of noctua's low profile heatsinks (c-14, l-12 i think) but i have no idea on how they would handle a 125w cpu.
What do you guys think?

also water cooling is an option, but i'd rather not spend $100 or more
and i'd like to overclock my cpu, but not to anything ridiculous, probably just 4.0 or 4.2

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO or Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus, whichever is cheaper. The difference is that the EVO would be 1-2C cooler. So it's really little.

Even though it is small, it certainly outperforms bigger coolers like the CM Hyper 212 EVO and is very silent.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO or Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus, whichever is cheaper. The difference is that the EVO would be 1-2C cooler. So it's really little.

I would pick the evo or plus, seeing as i've used both and both have done me well, but the heatsink would leave only a few mm of room.
I could do something like 130-140mm tall, but i can't find any that are that tall

It's a good cooler, but I think it is overkill for 4.0 - 4.2 OC. Unless you plan to OC to 4.5 - 4.6, the CM options are cheaper.

It's a good cooler, but I think it is overkill for 4.0 - 4.2 OC. Unless you plan to OC to 4.5 - 4.6, the CM options are cheaper.

I just took a look at noctua's website and it says the heatsink is specifically for lga 115x sockets, so that is out of the question.
