Advice on how to improve this pc

I recently (as of about a week ago) was given a pc.
This is all the info i could dig up on it:

Motherboard msi A88xm-e45
Cpu athlon x4 760k black edition 3.8ghz
Gpu msi nvidia gtx 750Ti gaming overclock 1163 mhz 2gb
Coolermaster watercooling 1156 rl-s12v-24pk-r1 seidon
Corsair 430w modular 80 plus bronze
HyperX predator series 8gb 2400mhz ddr3
Case CiT Vantage
256gb main drive (os)
1tb secondary drive.

It works lovely for what i use it for currently (skyrim, LoL, sims 3 and hopefully 4 very soon! Various mmorpgs).

Basically, if anyone can spare a moment to give me some recommendations on how to improve the pc in the future, bearing in mind i will always be on the budget side of upgrades.

Ps, i have been advised by a friend that i need to get rid of the psu and get a 600w one asap. Is he right?

Yes get a better PSU (Tier 2 or Tier 1) and then OC the CPU to 4.2GHz stable and you're good for high-ultra gaming on FHD with 40-50FPS

My advice:
Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($99.99 @ Micro Center)
That's a tier 1 Gold PSU with lots of room for upgrade in parts, SLI, CF, etc etc, the best for the price.

My budget is low. But if an upgrade is worth it in the long run, i can save £'s for a few weeks/months. Atm, im trying to save to upgrade the psu. I have less than no idea what i'm doing, but figure this is my chance to about builds etc. So, just looking for general "over the mext few years, you should really think about XYZ" type thing. Sorry for long-ness :/
