[SOLVED] Advice on motherboard and general compatibility

Hello,

Figured it's time to upgrade my almost 10 year old PC. The most PC tinkering I've done the last 10 years is swap out a GFX and add more storage, so kinda rusty.
I'm looking to build a future proof, silent pc. I don't care about RGB, don't want a window. At the base of it, I want a PC just like the one I got, one that will function the next 10 years with an occasional GFX swap, of cause there is no guarantees.

I'm really unsure what motherboard to get and still on fence with the RAM, any suggestions?
Price isn't so much a factor, more the cost efficiency of the build. Don't see much point in spending lots of money on something that only gives a fraction of the perfomance increase.

I wouldn't mind overclocking capabilities, I'm just unsure how much that will affect the silent aspect of the build, since overclocking = heat = more aireflow = more noise.

Current gear that will be reused in new pc:

Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Frequency for the rams you're using? Board should not be less than an X570 chipset. You're also better off, perhaps going for an AIO cooler, 360mm.

Budget for your entire build? You sure you want an atx tower build? You could cram a lot in a smaller footprint. You missed out the GPU too.

Thank you
Yeah I'm thinking an x570. But there are quite a lot of different x570 mobos. I left out GPU since I don't wanna upgrade it. It's a 1080 TI.

The RAM are 3200 MHz.

Thinking around 1900 USD. It's a bit difficult since prices in my country is a bit higher than us prices.

I was thinking it, but silent is a priority, and as far as I can read, a smaller case is noisier due to the lack of airflow.
