Hi. I'm putting together a new gaming AM5 build with a 7800x3D CPU and 4090 GPU. The only thing I am really stuck on is which motherboard to choose.
I like the features on the ASUS B650E-E Gaming mobo and if it were not for the issues ASUS has had recently, it would be a no-brainer. I like having the Q code display and I have an old Klipsch surround speaker set I like that requires rear and sub outs which limits my options. The other mobo that has a similar feature set I am looking at is the X670E MSI Carbon. I'd appreciate any recommendations particularly from anyone with experience with either of these mobos. Unfortunately, ASRock and Gigabyte mobos dont have the audio outputs I need. I guess I could go with them and add a sound card. Is this a reasonable option?
