I am hesitant building my own pc cause I always worry that something may go wrong, but since I already tinkered with my current pc by adding harddrives, replacing ram, video card and PSU and nothing has gone wrong I'd say its time to see if I can build one on my own.
This is what I plan to reuse in my new build:
Keyboard/Mouse: Logitech G15/Logitech G700
Monitor: Bravia KDL40EX500
These are what I like to reuse in my new build but not sure if they will be compatible:
HDD1: Seagate ST350063 0AS 500GB
HDD2: Western Digital WDC WD10 EACS-07D6B0 1TB
As for the use of SSD, it's not necessary for me but I would consider one if any of my harddrives are not compatible.
Use: Some of the uses of this new build is for surfing, gaming, and video editing.
OS: Currently I have Windows 7 Pro 64bit, but may consider getting a newer version of Win 7 since the one I have I received when it first came out.
Budget: $1500-$1800
Location: Chicago, IL
Purchase Date: within next few months.
For those that built their own, can you provide any guides/videos to what helped you build your first pc.
