Advice on my new gaming system.

Heya guys, I've been hunting online a while now for my replacement gaming laptop (yes I would prefer a desktop, but I move about a lot with work so laptop it is). Anyway after a short battle between PCSpecialist and Wired2Fire, PCS won and I now have a quote for my upcomming system.

I would love advice on the spec, any improvments or changes you might make for yourself to get the best system possible. I'ts costing me £1980 in total.

Wait until june/july. This is when intel Ivybridge comes out which will bring thinner laptops with more performance than current sandybridge mobile processors. Also the mobile version of kepler will be released around there which will use less power and give more performance, thus also creating thinner laptops. I am waiting for the thinner version of the asus G series of laptops.

Hey Amuffin, Thanks for the advice. How much can I expect prices to ramp up though with the new release?

Ivybridge desktop processors come out this month and the prices are the same as sandybridge. So we can estimate roughly the same price. With the new kepler gpus I am guessing roughly the same.
