You don't really need the cooler since you won't be overclocking, the stock fan is fine. Maybe use that money for an SSD to put the OS on, makes a tremendous difference in the responsiveness of the system. The rest looks very well balanced and is compatible. Should be a nice mini ITX rig.

Like the other guy stated you don't need the cooler, although it is probably quieter if you care about that, SSD would also be a great investment for the OS to be on (doesn't have to be very large at all). Last thing to say is that Acer build quality isn't always the best so i wouldnt choose that monitor personally, there are similarly priced ones by Asus or BenQ that might hold up better in the long run, and even give slightly better performance. maybe drop the cooler and get this one?

The cooler should help reduce temperature since I tend to keep my PC on for long periods. Also, I am quite concerned regarding ITX's temperature (heard a lot of temperature issues regarding ITX) so just to be on the safe side since this is my first ITX build.

The 850 EVO is an SSD btw.

Is there anything else you would recommend changing, etc?

Thanks but I do want an IPS monitor instead of TN. Been using an Acer monitor for more than 5 years and it's still working fine so I do fancy Acer monitors actually.
