Advice on New Gaming PC

I was recommended this build for my next gaming PC:

I will be playing games such as Dark souls 3, The Witcher 3, Total War: Warhammer, For Honor, Paragon, and other new games that are not yet released. Hoping for the build to last me for quite some time.

Curious to see what other people's opinions on this are? It will be my first time building my own PC so just trying to get it right the first time. Also wondering if I should just get the 980ti or wait for the new GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 that was just announced not too long ago. Thoughts and advice? Thanks in advance.

Wait for the GTX 1080, though GTX 980 ti is a cracking card and will be able to max anything on 1440p.
