Hi all,

I'd very much appreciate some advice on a new PSU. I have checked the PSU tier list and believe I have selected a few options from Tier 1 but this hasn't helped me in making the final decision.

I was to RMA my current PSU but the price of shipping makes buying a new one the better option. I plan on upgrading my PC next year and expect to need 6502 so will go for a 750w now.

I have allowed £100.00 budget for the PSU as I can't afford any more but may be able to stretch to £110 at the very max.

My current pick
Corsair RM750x 80 PLUS Gold (2018 Model)
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-RM750x-Fully-Modular-Supply/dp/B07B72D43N/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1536916950&sr=1-1&keywords=Corsair+RM750x

I also thought of buying the Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 850w for £105 but apparently it comes with a EU plug not a UK plug and that's a deal breaker for me even though converters are available.

I also looked at the EVGA G2 750w for £110.00 but was advised against this simply due to it being a much older model and there being better ones at a lower price.

If anyone has any input would be great so I can get this purchased asap.

Thanks

100 quid for a rmx 750w ??

Yeah thats a good price, thres honestly not much point looking elsewhere if you're happy at that budget.

The focus gold is probably better 'on paper' but you're looking at a tier quality point where in real life there isnt going to be a significant difference between them.

Focus gold,g2,g3,rmx - You cant go wrong with any of them.
