Hi Guys,

Background : Got a legacy PC. Most of the parts are outdated.

Approximate Purchase Date: December 2020
Budget Range: US$ 400-600
System Usage from Most to Least Important: playing game (mediocre games) or android games using emulator.
Important note : will let the PC turn on 24/7 for grinding in game
Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, case
Need to revisit : Power Supply & HDD
Parts Preferences: by brand or type : no preferences, anything decent is okay.
Overclocking: No

Usage : mainly for playing pixelated game like Growtopia. https://www.growtopiagame.com I usually play alone and probably will let the PC on for 24/7 for grinding purpose & at the same time would play 8-10 instances of the game.

Aside from that, I'm just gonna use this PC to play android games using NoxPlayer https://www.bignox.com/ and play 5 instances of MMORPG (e.g. Ragnarok mobile) game at same time

So far what I've researched for the components :
CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Video Card : VGA Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 550 4GB - RX 550 4 GB DDR5 or VGA Nvidia ZOTAC GeForce® GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 HDMI/VGA Low Profile
RAM : Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX PC21000 8GB (2X4GB)
Motherboard : Motherboard Asrock B450 PRO4 or Motherboard MSI B450M Pro VDH MAX

The questions :
  1. Will my build suitable for my needs ?
  2. Considering I'd let it on 24/7, do i need liquid cooling or could I just use fan ? My existing case have two fans.
  3. Considering my budget, should I buy SSD or can I just use my existing SATA HDD ?
  4. I'm still don't know which video card & motherboard I should buy. But I'm leaning toward VGA Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 550 4GB - RX 550 4 GB DDR5 (because it's 4GB) and Motherboard Asrock B450 PRO4 (more slots, but not that i'm gonna use it all)

This is my first time building a PC. Any recommendations / suggestions is welcome.

For your usage, I don't really see any issues with the items you've chosen.

There is another thread with $500 gaming build contest to get the most gaming performance you can while staying under $500. Not sure if it would be something you would want to look at or not. I'll just leave it here.

Edit* I modified the build list I entered in the contest slightly. This price includes a case that can be removed.

-> Oh no, I'm outside of USA. In the south east asian actually.

What case do you have that you're reusing?

If you plan on running this 24/7 as you stated, I'd get a much better quality power supply that you can depend on. A $40 power supply is not something I would run around the clock.

Yeah, all your choices are great for your budget but there is one problem, you need an operating system, which you can find officially licensed windows on sites like Newegg and others but you can find keys for windows on sites like here which is g2a.com, although the site might look like a scam, it's not, they just use windows keys sold in other countries at lower prices.
