Hey hey people. I have selected parts for building a new PC and just want to make sure that everything goes together, if you have a suggestion of replacing one part with another please do not hesitate to answer!

😀 Thats why im going for an SLI, read some testing and seems that SLI should pull off most of the stuff at ~60fps @ 4K resolution. If the framerate is un playable I would just go down to WQHD for games :)
As for the motherboard, Asus Z97A (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97A/) was also considered as an option, should I go for it instead of the Extreme4? If that is the case then I would like to know why Z97A would be the better option.

Ok, after some reading decided to go for Asus Z97 PRO, since Gryphon/Sabertooth have some features that I don't really need and I'll save a buck by going with the PRO. By the way, any predicted numbers for overclocking? I know it's different for every system and even identical systems, but still, at least some very vague expectations?

Did even more fiddling around and decided to ditch the EVGA SSC ACX2.0 for Gigabyte's G1 (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5209#ov), as the EVGA card has a TDP issue. And since I'm going for a more OC friendly card I'll probably need those lower temperatures in the case, so I'm gonna go for a Noctua NH-UH14S CPU cooler. (http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=productview&products_id=64&lng=en). Going to get 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro as well, because the build seems pretty badass and there's no reason to save on the RAM if it might limit the other components :)

It hasn't been fixed it seems. The cooling issues were fixed, but not the 110% power limit, you have to make custom changes to bios to have a stable clock on for example the FTW ACX 2.0 version of the card, as it has the highest stock clock of all aftermarket cards, yet 2nd lowest TDP. Get a Gigabyte 970 G1 if you want to do some proper overclocking as it has the highest TDP of approx. 280 watts The cooling differences between all aftermarket 970's are not that significant (except the terrible EVGA's ACX 1.0), hence picking a card with most TDP gives you most overclocking headroom
