Hi guys!
So my PC is around 6 years old, and recently I've been experiencing issues where I can't run some newer games without my PC crashing and shutting down, or lagging significantly. I believe this is due to the CPU overheating, and given my PC has been built for a while now, I think it is high time for an upgrade! (Also because I don't know how to repaste the thermal paste so might as well just get a new one haha)
The specs of my current PC are:
After some very brief research, I am thinking of changing the CPU to the i9-13900, and since my case is a Micro-ATX, to upgrade the motherboard to a B760M or B760G.
Of course, I need advice from all of y'all experts - 1) whether you think this upgrade and change is viable, or whether something is missing 2) are there any overheating issues, 3) would you just recommend I change the entire thing and build a new computer instead of a simple upgrade for whatever reason.
Thank you all in advance!
