Hi all,

Just looking for a bit of advice on some kit that would help me achieve display switching easily.

So my setup currently is PC with 2 monitors (when playing online games) and then I also have a TV (for playing single player). At the moment, I need to go into windows and change all the display settings in windows to display to the desired screens. I don't want my TV to be on when it doesn't need to be and vice versa.

I thought about a HDMI switcher but couldn't see any that allowed multiple display connections in each 'state' as it were. What would be the best way to achieve this? Basically I want to, instead of faffing about with windows settings, just press a button and then it all swaps over.

Thanks :)

As I understand your post/question you will likely need some sort of macro or script to automate the display connection change(s).

That said: what is the reason for going to a TV versus just using one of the 2 monitors for single player play?

Either way, what specific display settings need to be changed when you need to do so?

More information/details needed.

The TV is nice because it is in a position where I can lie back and play rather than sitting at my desk. Also just much nicer display than either of the monitors too. I had thought about a script to do this so might need to look into this more.

I could also just not be lazy and swap the settings each time in windows 😂
