Advice on system build

So I'm planning a system overhaul, my first since 2007. I haven't been in the loop with PC tech and just want to check that my build makes sense.

I am not planning on overclocking the system, will use it for gaming and some H264 encoding and photo editing.

This is what I'm planning on getting:

Intel Core i7 4771 3.5/3.9GHz LGA1150 Processor
Asus Z87-A IZ87 Motherboard
Corsair DDR3-1866 8GB (2x4GB) Vengeance
SanDisk 240GB Extreme II SATA6 2.5" 7mm Solid State Drive

I'm sticking with my old GTX 560 Ti for now with the option of replacing it later, and also using my old ATX mid tower case.

Will the front USB plugs on my old case connect to the new USB 3.0 connectors on my new MB?

I also have a 600W coolermaster power supply, does this still suffice nowadays?

Any advice on the feasibility of this setup will be greatly appreciated.

i7 4770k if you want to overclock
The USB plugs from your old case should fit fine if theyre USB 3.0 also but youre replacing the case later anyways
I personaly dont trust cooler master with PSUs, I'd go with XFX or Seagate or Seasonic
Overall, it's a good build
