I've got my Intel 6420 Overclocked to 2.75 GHz from 2.13 GHz and without my air conditioner on the temperatures idle at:
CPU: 30C
CORE0: 42C
CORE1: 44C

At load the cores climb all the way up to 67C with the case at 50C. I was wondering if this is going to be a setup that will last me at least a year or should I worry about the temperatures?

I say well one thing. I think you made a typo. I think you meant to say mother board temp is 30c not cpu. Really it's you chipset any way. I'd put some thermal grease on the cpu artic 5 or something good like that and if you don't have a after market heatsink invest in one. If you have a video card invest in a cooler for it as well and make sure you have a good fan sucking in air on the front of the case and back. Then you can push your overclock further as well. I actually took off my heatsinks on my chipset and put good thermal compound on them as well. You have to be carefull doing that part though hense know how to use tools 😛.
