Question Advice on the quality of G-sync on a certified monitor without the official driver ?

Hello good folks, I'm looking forward to step up from an old 60hz display to the Acer Predator XB253, a 144hz 1080p monitor which is certified as G-Sync compatible by Nvidia (this one : https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/predator-model/UM.KX3EE.P08). But the issue is, Nvidia's website says the monitor's g-sync driver is "upcoming" : https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/g-sync-monitors/specs/. That bothers me, obviously. I've absolutely no idea how long it takes to craft and release a new driver for such a piece of hardware, so
1) Does anyone knows roughly how long I'd have to wait ?
and
2) How bad is it ? Has anyone by any chance tried out g-sync with this monitor and could tell me if it works or not ? I've never used this tech before. I'd be grateful for even a simple guess from you.

BTW my GPU is an RTX 3060 ti, in case that matters.

Thank you very much in advance for your help !
Cheers, have a very nice day, stay safe.
