Advice on upgrade?

I'm thinking about upgrading my PC but I'm stuck on what to upgrade first. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/BRzhgL. should i upgrade my motherboard and ram first or GPU. i will grade my case after than that.

If the link you posted initially is your current build...you really don't need to upgrade you motherboard and ram now if at all. The 6600k is still fairly high end. Yes DDR4 MOBO would be better then a DDR3 one as i mentioned in some games. But with a GTX 10X0 (6, 7 or 8 for X)You would get a far greater FPS increase with a new GPU then new ram and motherboard. Say 10-15FPS...

If you're planning on doing this over a series of months I'd go motherboard and RAM now, then case and then wait till Black Friday sales for a good deal on a 1060/1070/1080. Unless of course the games you're playing now are having a hard time with your current video card, in which case a 1060 now can be had for under $300.

depends on what you old PC specs are and how you use your system...if gaming, generally i would get a new GPU first (even if your current setup will bottleneck it to some degree) then get the everything else as you can afford it since that will give you the biggest gaming bump in the short term. Also I might consider going with a motherboard that supports DDR4. Ram speed has historically not made much difference in games (some racing games have usually been expections) but recently games like fallout 4 are starting to show a trend towards ram bandwidth counting for more performance. With DDR4 you would get a decent amount of extra bandwidth compared to DDR3.

this might be a good upgrade for now and get a GTX 1070, GTX 1060/RX 480 soon or their smaller brothers depending on your gaming needs.

I'd swap out that BX200 SSD for a Samsung Evo 750. $10 price difference for better performance.

Are you planning on OCing this setup at all? A move to a Z170 board would be in order then.

If you are planning on going with an OC path, I'd look at something along these lines for final build. The H7 is a good little overclocker. If you need more heavy duty OCing/cooling, it'll be dependent on your case for size requirements.

They just published reviews on Toms for the 500GB. The 750 is still a bit pricier than some of the other budget drives but the thing performs like a mainstream level drive. Worth it from what I've seen.

The link is my current PC. right now The gpu works fine and is awesome but i'm a large Battlefield fan and im unsure if my gpu will run BF1. If it can run it i would have no need in upgrading the gpu unless anyone else has a reason? so can someone give me some insight? if it can ill go buy a new mobo and ram straight away then get either the 1070 or 480 8gb.

Say 10-15FPS for new ram and motherboard in ram bandwidth restricted titles which are so far very few...and A lot more then that with a new GPU. Regardless that setup would not hold back any of the new pascal cards out from nvidia.

oh if thats the case, you can just go for a GPU upgrade. GTX 1070 seems to be the sweet spot. or a GTX 1060/RX 480 8GB. just find one thats fits your budget. your power supply is top notch so no worries there.

wouldn't hurt...like i said in some titles it will help, just not nearly as much as a new GPU. If i were forced to choose between a better gpu say a gtx 1080 or a gtx 1060 with new mobo and ram (in your case specifically)...i would get the GTX 1080. For example.
