Question Advice on buying a used Gaming System for upgrade ?

My son has been on a Thinkpad laptop and I would like to upgrade his system. He does not have need for a super duper system, but I assume most gaming specific setups would be a benefit. There are several on marketplace and I would like to buy locally, here are a few that are currently out there​
