Greetings community,

This is my first build and my budget is around $1300, but I am willing to spend a little more for necessary high quality components. My purpose for the new computer will be gaming, with a secondary purpose of nothing. Purely games. I've been doing a lot of research on this website and have taken a preference to Intel and EVGA. So, is the following a quality build?

CPU: Intel i5 2500K - http://www.amazon.com/Intel-BOX80623I52500K-Core-i5-2500K-Processor/dp/B004EBUXHQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1H9Y607IM1SCP&colid=3V89VH9HNNJV1

Mother Board: ASUS SABERTOOTH X58 - http://www.amazon.com/X58-CrossFireX-SATA3-0-Motherboard-SABERTOOTH/dp/B00407ZUUY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2L8U80IZHR87O&colid=3V89VH9HNNJV1

GPU: 2 X SLI EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Superclocked 1024 MB - http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Superclocked-Mini-HDMI-Graphics-01G-P3-1461-KR/dp/B0050I1PH4/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1RXH2LXVDSWYA&colid=3V89VH9HNNJV1

PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series 850-Watt - http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Enthusiast-Certified-Compatible-platforms/dp/B004MYFODS/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=IHQB7RLLWJVQT&colid=3V89VH9HNNJV1

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Blue 16 GB DDR3. The RAM is my main area of concern. Not sure if this is even necessary for my needs. - http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Channel-Memory-CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B/dp/B004RFBIUU/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=IKKNK22181RTA&colid=3V89VH9HNNJV1

DVD Drive: Asus 24xDVD±RW Drive - http://www.amazon.com/Asus-24xDVD%C2%B1RW-24x8x16x-48x32x48x-DRW-24B1ST/dp/B0033Z2BAQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1RO4HFKGJY6JT&colid=3V89VH9HNNJV1

Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER - http://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-CHALLENGER-Computer-Fans-1x-Fans-2x/dp/B003YVJJ5Y/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I16S2VJ0FSK2BL&colid=3V89VH9HNNJV1

Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 120mm - http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-Sleeve-RR-B10-212P-G1/dp/B002G1YPH0/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1VE48K9UJ9BRZ&colid=3V89VH9HNNJV1

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB - http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-Caviar-Internal-Desktop/dp/B0036Q7MV0/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I33G4SDAZTX3KG&colid=3V89VH9HNNJV1

As it stands on Amazon, the price is exactly $1300. Like I said though, I am willing to spend more if some of the components need to be upgraded.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Solution
The motherboard isn't compatible with the cpu you chose. I propose Asrock extreme3 gen3.
8gb of ram is more than enough.
Don't get the gtx 560. Either gtx560ti or even better, imho, 6950 1gb.
Why amazon? Go for newegg.

The rest of the parts look great.
