Advice on when what and where I should get for a gaming desktop
Hello, I have been getting rather past off from my disintegrating laptop and its lackluster specs, as in getting rather low frames on newer games on the lowest settings and I think it’s about time is get a new desktop computer instead of a laptop, but some questions need to be answered. Btw I am not a computer newbie, I how to use windows very well, I just don’t know what to put inside of my desktop for the right price and performance.
My current laptop specs
Model: Lenovo p585 laptop
Cpu: intel core dual i7-3520@ 2.9 ghz
Ram 8gb
Graphics card: geforce gt 630m
As you can see my laptop isn’t that great.
My budget will probably be around 1500$ and I have full confidence that I can build the desktop myself as I already know how. Leave suggestions for all parts to fit in that budget, except mouse, keyboard, and monitor as I already have those. I would want to get the best performance out of the computer at this price, and tell me what I should expect from it when playing games.
I live in CANADA by the way, so try and keep that in mind.
