Question advide on new PC build

Greetings to the community
So i am about to buy a new desktop gaming PC.
I have made my build, but i would like the opinion of the gaming community in order to fine-tune my hardware components. Maybe i have selected something too powerful for the remaining components, or the other way around.

First, the most important thing to say is that i am not interested in playing the 200fps shooter games that are created to push the boundaries of hardware. i play only RPGs and not even the action ones like Elden Ring which can be also demanding. A heavy game for my taste would be something like the new Baldur's Gate 3, for which the recommended GPU is already a mid-range GPU from what i understand. Anyway, i hope you get the point. Also, I am not the guy who will change the PC every 2 or 3 years, i want to build something that will last for years since the games i am playing do not evolve as much as the "high-end" games.

Second but also very important is that i want a mini-ITX PC. don't ask why.

Anyway, the build i have chosen:
CPUintel core i5-13400F
MotherboardASUS ROG Strix B760-I Gaming WiFi
RAMCrucial RAM (2x16Go) DDR5 4800MHz CL40
HDWD_BLACK SN850X 1To M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4
GPUMSI RX6650 XT Mech 8Go
CaseFractal Design Meshify 2 Compact
PSUThermaltake Ali TT Smart BM2 750W 80+ Bronze
CPU CoolerDeepCool AK400

I will also need a GPU riser which is not included in the list but i will have to get the case and GPU first to see what riser i will need.

Thank you very much.

Based on your preferences and requirements, it seems like you have put together a solid setup. The i5-13400F is a capable CPU for gaming, and the ASUS ROG Strix B760-I Gaming WiFi motherboard should work well in your mini-ITX build.

Your choice of Crucial RAM and the WD_BLACK SN850X SSD are also good picks. The MSI RX6650 XT Mech 8GB GPU should handle RPGs with ease, considering your gaming preferences.

Just make sure to check the compatibility of the GPU riser with your chosen case and GPU to ensure a proper fit.

Overall, your build seems well-balanced and should provide you with a great gaming experience.

I am guessing you are aiming for the 1000 USD mark?

If so, consider this mATX build. its not that large compared to the FD Meshify 2 nano.

thanks, for the riser, this is why i want to get all the GPU and the case first, to be sure that i buy the proper riser

Thanks for the alternatives, i am indeed in the ~1000 EUR mark as i am located in France but yes its more or less 1000$.
Unfortunately, not everything is readily available here. The Gigabyte board was my first choice (but the newer DDR5 version) but not available, not even on Amazon. You think DDR5 is an exaggeration?
For the CPU i chose the 13400F which is ~30 bucks cheaper here and i saw no measurable difference from its 13400 siblings.
The ACER predator, i've seen it but goes for ~420euros so...
for the case i made a mistake, the one i have chosen is not for Micro-ITX, i'll check the one you propose.
thanks !

Updated PC partlist:

The DDR4 is not a big deal, the performance drop is very minor. That too only in CPU bound games.

Can you supply a link to the proposed case?
The Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact you specified is a larger ATX case.

On your parts selection, you could build as is.

I would spend some $25 more for the non F version of the 13400.
The integrated graphics is a lifesaver if you should ever have discrete graphics card issues.

750w is fine, but for a long term purchase, I would look for a psu with at least a 7 year warranty. Seasonic focus or Corsair rmx would be good places to start.

With ITX, it may be hard to expand storage. I would suggest a 2tb m.2 up front.
Intel 670P 2tb m.2 pcie will be $80:

13400 is not a particularly hot processor. It might be worth trying out the included stock cooler.
If you need more, I would want to know for certain what the case is.
